Dear Customers,
We want to sincerely apologize for the service disruption many of you experienced earlier today. The downtime was the result of a major, global Cloudflare outage that temporarily impacted large portions of the internet—including platforms such as X/Twitter, ChatGPT, Spotify, and countless other services. This incident was entirely outside our infrastructure, but it nevertheless affected our network and your experience, and for that we are truly sorry.
Cloudflare has since confirmed that the issue stemmed from a latent bug triggered by a routine configuration change, which cascaded into broad network degradation across their global platform. Their engineering teams have resolved the issue, restored the control plane, and continue to monitor for full stability. They’ve also committed to publishing a detailed post-incident report explaining the root cause and the steps they are taking to ensure this does not happen again.
As of now, all services on our end are fully operational, and normal performance has returned. We are closely monitoring our systems to ensure continued stability, and no further action is required from you.
We understand how critical uptime is for your business, and even though today’s event was beyond our control, our commitment to transparency and reliability remains absolute. If you experienced any lingering issues or have questions about what occurred, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team—we’re here to help.
Thank you for your patience and continued trust.
Regards,
